Aerial Hoop Summer Workshop Series

Join Sam and Tasia on the lyra for a dynamic series of aerial hoop workshops!

Each week explores new shapes, transitions, and creative movement, building toward the development of your own personalized flow. Come for one session or attend all three to learn new skills and enoy playtime in the air!

Week 1 – Backbends (June 29)

Discover the joy of heart-opening shapes in this workshop focused on backbends with the aerial hoop.

We’ll introduce backbend shapes on both the top and bottom bars of the hoop, with clear step-by-step guidance. We’ll also cover inverting techniques and include flexibility and strength drills—both on and off the hoop—to help you deepen your range and control.

Week 2 – Transitions (July 20)

Learn how to connect your hoop moves smoothly and confidently. This workshop focuses on basic transitions to help you flow from one shape to another with ease. We’ll break down simple, beautiful pathways and introduce fun creative tools to help you start building your own sequences and elevate your flows

Week 3- Spinning (August 17)

Embrace the spin! In this workshop, we’ll go over the foundation for spinning entrances and flows. We'll integrate elements from Weeks 1 and 2—including backbends and transitions—into beautiful combinations, culminating in the creation of a personalized flow!
