The Team

Britt Zale

Britt founded Climb Moab in 2021. This is her first time owning a business, but she has six years of experience in small business management and federal civil litigation in Washington, DC. Before moving to Moab in 2017, she had just spent almost two years as an academic fellow, teaching the first year Leadership Seminar at the Asian University for Women in Chittagong, Bangladesh. Teaching later in Hanoi, Vietnam, she signed up for her first climbing gym membership at VietClimb and began her climbing experience deep water soloing nearby.

She spends as much time as possible outside climbing, skydiving, and BASE jumping.

Justin Beitler

Justin Beitler is a Climb Moab founding partner. Based out of Las Vegas, Justin brings to our team over a decade of experience in business development and entrepreneurship that’s rooted in passion. Justin has been a pilot since he was 19 years old and has logged over 4,500 hours, including seven North Atlantic crossings and one world speed record. He entered the aviation industry in 2008 and turned his passion for flying into his own venture, founding an aircraft brokerage business, AEROCOR, in 2017.

Flying isn't Justin's only passion: He's been rock climbing since 2002—predominantly sport, bouldering, and later, solo climbing. When he was done soloing routes that ranged up to 5.13a in Malibu Creek, he turned to BASE jumping for a safer, measured activity. BASE jumping is what first brought Justin to Moab in 2015, and he has since been visiting the area to jump and climb. He first heard about Britt and Kaya’s project in early 2023 and soon joined the Climb Moab team as our financial investor and business partner.
